Standard Cleaning Checklist
ROOM: ALL AREAS
- Dust and wipe all accessible surfaces, décor, picture frames, lamps, shelves, and tables
- Lightly dust blinds and window sills
- Dust ceiling fans and reachable vents
- Wipe door handles, light switches, and door frames
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with glass cleaner and soft cloths
- Vacuum rugs and carpets
- Sweep and mop hard floors with the proper cleaner for the surface type
- Empty all trash cans
ROOM: KITCHEN
- Remove clutter and dishes from countertops
- Wipe counters and backsplash
- Wipe exterior of refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and oven top only
- Wipe and polish range top and control panel
- Wipe handles and knobs to remove grease or fingerprints
- Clean sink
- Sweep and mop kitchen floor
- Empty trash
ROOM: BATHROOM
- Spray vanity, countertop, and sink
- Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces
- Clean toilet bowl and exterior surfaces
- Wipe exterior, lid, seat, and base
- Rinse and wipe tub and shower
- Clean chrome fixtures
- Sweep and mop floor
ROOM: BEDROOMS
- Dust furniture tops, décor, blinds, lamps, and picture frames
- Dust dressers, nightstands, and shelving
- Fluff pillows and straighten bedding
- Vacuum carpet or mop hard flooring
- Empty trash cans
ROOM: LIVING / FAMILY / DINING
- Remove clutter from tables and flat surfaces
- Dust furniture, décor, lampshades, electronics, and shelving
- Wipe down end tables, coffee tables, and entertainment centers
- Vacuum sofas and chairs
- Wipe remotes, switches, and high-touch surfaces
- Dust and wipe dining table and chairs
- Sweep, vacuum, or mop floors as appropriate
ROOM: ENTRYWAYS, HALLWAYS & STAIRS
- Dust banisters, rails, wall décor, and light fixtures
- Wipe door frames and switches
- Remove cobwebs from corners and ceilings
- Sweep, vacuum, or mop floors and steps
- Ensure mats and runners are clean and aligned
